Giving at St Andrew’s
Nothing in the church would be possible without the loving generosity of its congregation members. Their giving provides the church the resources and tools to build God’s kingdom in and through its ministry. At St. Andrew’s we want to make giving as simple and accessible as possible, so no matter what one gives they can do it easily and stress free. Our belief is that it is by Jesus’ example of sacrificial love that we come to know what generosity looks like.
For congregation members looking to give, please follow the link further down the page to our standing order giving page operated by the Parish Giving Scheme.
For those seeking more information on Christian giving, how St Andrews uses its giving, and how to give one-off donations, please download our guide to giving document below.
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
- 2 Corinthians 9:7
How to Give
-
Regular Giving
Giving monthly by standing order is the most helpful way of supporting the ministry at St. Andrew’s. It allows us to budget intelligently and to manage our cashflow more efficiently.
This is administered for us free of charge by the Parish Giving Scheme. They collect donations from our supporters, reclaim any Gift Aid where appropriate, and pass on the full proceeds to us. It makes things easy for us, and easy for you!
Simply visit the page below to set up a standing order. Thank you!

One-Off Gifts
One-off gifts can also now be made through the Parish Giving Scheme, though a small administration charge applies in these cases.
Making your gift through the Scheme is quick and easy for you, and lightens the administrative burden for us.
For larger gifts in excess of £1,000, or where you would prefer to ay directly n to our bank account please contact us and we will be happy to provide you with our account details. Thank you!
GiftAid
If you are an eligible UK taxpayer you can make your gift go a whole lot further. As long as you will have paid at least as much in income or capital gains tax as you give to charities under the scheme, HMRC will return the basic rate tax they have already taken and pass this over to your chosen beneficiary.
If you are making your donation through the Parish Giving Scheme then you will be guided through the easy process on their website. For gifts made directly to St Andrew’s you will need to sign the Gift-Aid declaration below. Please do get in touch through the contact page if you have any doubts on this.
